AT&T says it’s not responsible for internet outage in Ireland

AT&t says it is not responsible, as it continues to operate a slow internet connection for a week in the northern Irish province of Mayo, the Irish Times reported.
The Irish Times said the carrier stopped using the internet in May after the Government of Northern Ireland (NIRO) declared that internet service was not safe for use in the province.
A spokeswoman for the NIRO said the Government is aware of the situation and will take action if it is confirmed that the internet is not safe.AT&T has not yet commented.NIRA’s declaration came after a number of large earthquakes shook the province, and prompted residents to seek help from the emergency services.
